Each Arden Moses Basket is handmade to order in the UK using high-quality recycled cotton cord and carefully crafted by Fiona from Three Little Cubs.

With a generously sized 76 × 35cm base, our Moses baskets offer a little more room while maintaining a beautiful, comfortable space for your baby.

Our standard UK nursery-grade foam mattress measures 73 x 32 x 3cm and is designed to fit our Crochet Moses Baskets perfectly. It provides comfortable support and cushioning, with an internal PVC waterproof sleeve covering the foam for added protection.

Deluxe Silvercare Mattress

Our deluxe UK Silvercare nursery-grade foam mattress measures 73 x 32 x 3cm and is designed to fit our Crochet Moses Baskets perfectly. It features a soft, breathable fabric cover with Silvercare properties, designed to help repel dust mites and support a fresh, hygienic sleeping environment. Ventilation holes allow air to circulate through the mattress, while the internal non-toxic PVC waterproof sleeve helps protect the foam from moisture and accidental leaks.

Deluxe Bamboo Mattress

Upgrade to our premium bamboo mattress for a naturally soft, breathable and luxurious feel. Measuring 73 x 32 x 3cm, it is designed to fit our Crochet Moses Baskets perfectly. The bamboo fabric offers moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating properties for added comfort. Ventilation holes allow air to circulate, while the internal PVC waterproof sleeve helps protect the mattress from moisture and accidental leaks.

Mattress Safety & Care: All of our mattresses conform to BS 1870:2023 and BS 7177:2008+A1:2011 (Low Hazard) standards for domestic use. We recommend using a waterproof protective sheet over all mattresses to provide an additional layer of protection and help prolong the life of the mattress.

Colour Variations

Please be aware that colour shades can vary slightly between batches of recycled cotton cord. This is a natural characteristic of the recycled fibres used to create our cord and means that the colour you receive may differ slightly from the colour shown on screen or from a previous order.

We recommend ordering all items for your bundle together where possible, so we can ensure the cord used is from the same batch and achieve the most consistent colour match throughout your order.

Safety Information

The Arden Pod Crochet Moses Basket has been in accordance to BS EN 1466:2023 but does not carry the official certification.

Our Moses baskets are intended for babies who cannot sit unaided, roll over or push themselves up on their hands and knees, and have a maximum child weight of 9kg.

Only one suitable mattress should be used at a time, and all safety instructions supplied with your Moses basket and mattress should be followed.

Please note: Safety certification applies only to finished products manufactured and supplied directly by Three Little Cubs.

Important information:

• This product is suitable only for a child who cannot sit unaided, roll over or push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child: 9 kg.
• Only use replacement parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
• Never place the carry cot near an open fire or other source of strong heat.
• A moses basket mattress measuring 73 x 32 x 3cm is recommended to use with this product.
• The handles and the bottom of the carry cot should be inspected regularly for signs of damage and wear.
• This product is designed to be used with a stand that can accommodate 76 x 35cm and carries a BS EN 1466 certification, we use the Clair De Lune Rocking Stand.
• Use both handles to carry and transport the moses basket, we strongly recommend you DO NOT carry a baby in the moses basket.
• If you do carry a baby in the moses basket please be aware of surroundings and the risk of hitting the baby e.g. when going through doors, placing on the ground.
• The Moses basket is fully assembled and ready to use.
• The childs head in the carry cot should never be lower than their body.
• The childs feet should be at the bottom of the moses basket.
• Only one mattress should be used with this product, at any given time, do not add another mattress on top of the one provided.
• Do not leave anything in the moses basket that could present a danger of suffocation e.g. non rigid toys, pillows etc.
• Do not place the moses basket close to another product which could present a danger of strangulation e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords etc.
• Overheating can endanger the life of your child! Take into account the ambient temperature and the child’s clothing and ensure that the child is not too cold or too warm.
• Ask a health professional for advice on safe sleeping.
