Every baby crochet moses basket is carefully handmade to order from our Three Little Cubs HQ in Scotland, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail. Crafted with love and care, this Moses basket provides a cosy and comfortable space for your baby to rest.

Certified Safety
Your baby’s safety is our priority. Our original Classic Crochet Moses Basket were certified safe under the BS EN 1466:2023 standard, which means it meets stringent safety requirements for durability and overall quality. Our new hooded design has not yet been tested under BS EN 1466:2023, but is currently under the process of being certified.  For up to date information on our new size moses baskets please review our blog.

We, at Three Little Cubs, believe in sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. We make our Baby Crochet Moses Baskets using British recycled cotton cord. Our moses baskets are not only stylish but also contribute to a greener and sustainable future.

All of our baby crochet moses baskets are handmade to order, please allow 8 Weeks  for production and delivery. We diligently work to create and ship your order with the utmost care and attention. If you have left it a bit late in ordering, please contact us to check availability for a quicker dispatch.

Please note our new size Moses basket only fits in the rocking stand, we are on the hunt for a stationary stand that will accommodate our new size.

Standard UK Nursery Grade Foam Option (included)

Our premium standard UK nursery-grade foam is carefully crafted to create the Standard mattress, which measures 73 x 32 x 3cm and provides ample support and cushioning. Additionally, we specifically designed our mattresses to fit perfectly in our Crochet Moses baskets, offering your baby a plush and secure environment to rest and sleep.

Deluxe UK Silvercare Nursery Grade Foam Option

Elevate your baby’s sleep experience with our deluxe UK Silvercare nursery grade foam mattress, which measures 73 x 32 x 3cm. We designed this mattress with utmost care and precision to provide optimal comfort to your little one. Our deluxe mattress features a textured breathable fabric lining that offers a luxurious feel. Additionally, the silver lining embedded in the fabric provides anti-dust properties, effectively repelling dust mites to create a clean and hygienic environment for your baby.

Furthermore, the silver lining contributes to temperature regulation, maintaining a comfortable and consistent sleeping temperature for your little one, with the aim of creating a safe sleeping environment. Our mattress includes ventilation holes for breathability. These holes allow proper air circulation to help prevent heat retention and maintain a comfortable temperature for your baby, ensuring a pleasant and cosy sleeping experience.

The non-toxic PVC waterproof fabric with an internal PVC sleeve ensures durability and protection against accidental leaks, enhances the overall durability and prevents moisture from seeping inside. We recommend using a waterproof protective sheet over any mattress, especially the standard mattress we supply as there is no internal waterproofing.

We are pleased to offer our very own Moses basket fitted sheets, made from organic cotton sourced from the UK. Our sheets are designed to fit our Moses baskets and are available in a variety of designs to complement the look of your Moses basket Organic Cotton Fitted Sheets

WARNING: “Do not leave the decorative tassels on the inside of the carry cot”.

Important information:

• This product is suitable only for a child who cannot sit unaided, roll over or push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child: 9 kg.
• Only use replacement parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
• Never place the carry cot near an open fire or other source of strong heat.
• A moses basket mattress measuring 73 x 32 x 3cm is recommended to use with this product.
• The handles and the bottom of the carry cot should be inspected regularly for signs of damage and wear.
• This product is designed to be used with a stand that can accommodate 76 x 35cm and carries a BS EN 1466 certification, we use the Clair De Lune Rocking Stand.
• Use both handles to carry and transport the moses basket, we strongly recommend you DO NOT carry a baby in the moses basket.
• If you do carry a baby in the moses basket please be aware of surroundings and the risk of hitting the baby e.g. when going through doors, placing on the ground.
• The Moses basket is fully assembled and ready to use.
• The childs head in the carry cot should never be lower than their body.
• The childs feet should be at the bottom of the moses basket.
• Only one mattress should be used with this product, at any given time, do not add another mattress on top of the one provided.
• Do not leave anything in the moses basket that could present a danger of suffocation e.g. non rigid toys, pillows etc.
• Do not place the moses basket close to another product which could present a danger of strangulation e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords etc.
• Overheating can endanger the life of your child! Take into account the ambient temperature and the child’s clothing and ensure that the child is not too cold or too warm.
• Ask a health professional for advice on safe sleeping.
