Returns & Refunds
Last updated: 23 September 2026
At Three Little Cubs, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to help.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
For most physical products purchased online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods. Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you will generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods.
Condition of Returned Items
Items returned because you have changed your mind should be returned in their original condition and, where applicable, in their original packaging.
You may inspect goods in the same way that you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a shop. However, you should not use or handle the goods beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
If goods have been used or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and this reduces their value, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund where permitted by law.
2. Mattresses and Sealed Products
Mattresses and other products supplied in sealed protective packaging for health and hygiene reasons should remain sealed if you wish to return them because you have changed your mind.
Where a mattress or other hygiene-sensitive product has been removed from its sealed protective packaging, it may no longer be eligible for a change-of-mind return where the applicable legal exception for sealed goods applies.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, defective or not as described.
3. Rocking Moses Basket Stands
If you wish to return a Rocking Moses Basket Stand because you have changed your mind, please do not assemble or use the stand.
You may inspect the stand as you reasonably would in a shop. However, assembling or using the stand may go beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product and may reduce its value.
If a stand has been assembled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value, where permitted by law.
If the stand has been scratched, marked, damaged or otherwise reduced in value through assembly or use, any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the stand is faulty, defective, damaged or not as described.
4. Made-to-Order Crochet Products
Many of our crochet products are made to order and are created specifically following your purchase.
If you wish to cancel a made-to-order order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. If production has not yet started, we will do our best to accommodate your request where possible.
Where an item has been personalised or made to your specific requirements, the statutory cancellation right may not apply where the law permits an exception for customised or made-to-order goods.
If production has already started, cancellation may not be possible where an applicable legal exception applies.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, defective or not as described.
5. In-Stock Products
Standard in-stock products, such as changing mats and other ready-to-dispatch items, are generally covered by the 14-day statutory cancellation period described above.
If you decide that you no longer want an in-stock item, please contact us before returning it.
The cost of returning an unwanted item is the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.
6. DIY / Make Your Own Kits
Our DIY / Make Your Own Kits contain materials, components and/or instructions to help you make your own finished item.
A DIY Kit is not a finished product.
If you change your mind about a standard, non-personalised DIY Kit, your statutory cancellation rights may apply.
If you wish to return a DIY Kit because you have changed your mind, please do not begin making the item.
Kits that have been used to make a finished item and subsequently taken apart may no longer be in their original condition. Where the materials have been used, altered, damaged or otherwise reduced in value, we may make a reasonable deduction from any refund or, where permitted by law, may be unable to accept the kit as a change-of-mind return.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a kit is faulty, defective, incomplete or not as described.
Please note: Where a DIY Kit or Base and Mattress Bundle includes a personalised or engraved crochet base, the engraved base is made specifically to your requirements and is non-refundable unless it is faulty or defective.
7. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, defective, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at:
Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the problem and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Please contact us before returning a faulty or damaged item unless we have specifically asked you to return it.
8. Digital Products and Crochet Patterns
Digital products, including crochet patterns, PDF instructions, digital guides and video tutorials, are supplied electronically.
Please carefully check the product description and ensure that you have selected the correct digital product before completing your purchase.
Where you have expressly agreed to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledged that you may lose your statutory cancellation right once the digital content has been supplied, you may no longer have a right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind.
If you have accidentally purchased a digital product, please contact us before downloading or accessing it.
If a digital product is faulty, corrupted, inaccessible or does not match its description, please contact us at [email protected]. We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, correction, refund or other remedy required by law.
9. How to Request a Return or Refund
To request a return, cancellation or refund, please email:
Please include:
- Your name
- Order number
- Product purchased
- Reason for your request, where applicable
- Photographs if the product is damaged, faulty or incorrect
We will then provide the appropriate next steps and return instructions.
Please do not send a return to us without contacting us first.
10. Refunds
Where a refund is due, we will normally issue the refund using the original payment method.
Refunds will be processed within the timeframe required by applicable consumer law.
11. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
If you receive goods that are faulty, defective, damaged, incomplete, not as described or otherwise do not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, you retain your legal rights and remedies.
If you are unsure whether your purchase qualifies for a return, refund, repair or replacement, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
